Policies Governing U.S. Military Roles on Quicky Hire
Overview
Effective January 31, 2022, Quicky Hire has implemented specific guidelines for job postings related to U.S. military roles. These policies are designed to ensure clarity regarding military service requirements and to maintain the integrity of our job marketplace. Additionally, military entities are restricted from using Quicky Hire’s Resume and targeting services to promote roles that require enlistment or are not tied to specific positions.
Policy Statement
Quicky Hire prohibits job postings that advertise opportunities to start a new business or require military enlistment without clear and specific information. These guidelines aim to protect job seekers from ambiguous or misleading job listings and to foster a transparent and trustworthy hiring environment.
Policies for Military Roles
1. Civilian Positions
Job postings that do not require military service or enlistment must clearly state that they are civilian positions. This distinction helps job seekers understand that the role does not involve military commitments.
- Example:
- Allowed: "Project Manager - Civilian Position"
- Not Allowed: "Project Manager"
2. Medical, Officer, and Chaplain Recruiting
Recruiting for medical, officer, and chaplain roles within the military must include specific military service requirements in both the job title and the job description. Additionally, the military branch must be indicated in the job title or the company name.
- Requirements:
- Job Title: Must reflect the military service requirement and include the military branch.
- Example: "U.S. Navy Medical Officer"
- Job Description: Must detail the military service requirements, including any necessary qualifications and responsibilities.

3. General Recruitment
For general enlistment roles that require military service, the following criteria must be met:
-
Job Title:
- Clearly indicate that the role requires military service.
- Include the military branch in the job title or the company name.
- Example: "Army Enlistment Specialist" or "XYZ Corp - Army Enlistment Specialist"
-
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive information about enlistment eligibility and requirements.
- Avoid targeting specific roles obtainable through enlistment; instead, portray the general nature of enlistment.
-
Enlistment Duration:
- If the military branch mandates a specific number of years of active duty or reserve enlistment, this information must be included in the job description.
- Example: "Minimum of 4 years active duty required."
